Help for Families in Crisis
Practical support for people we meet at their worst hour: hospital bills, transport home, and someone to sit with them.

Families supported
With bills, transport or bereavement help
A rescue does not end at the hospital door. The people we carry in often have no money for the deposit, no family nearby, and no way of getting home afterwards.
This is the quiet part of the corps. We cover emergency deposits, buy prescribed drugs the hospital does not stock, arrange transport home for people discharged far from where they live, and sit with those who have nobody else. Where a death occurs, we help the family with the things nobody warns them about.
It is unglamorous and it is most of what we do.
